Interested in Joining Blue Lightning?

The Test-Drive Tryout is the first step for athletes interested in joining Blue Lightning Track Club. For the day, your athlete gets to experience what it’s like to be an honorary team member, train with the team, meet other athletes, and interact with our coaching staff.

Parents get a firsthand look too — watch our coaches in action, see how we interact with their athlete and the team, and talk with other Blue Lightning parents about their experience.

At the same time, our coaching staff gets an opportunity to coach, interact with, and evaluate your athlete’s athleticism, effort, attitude, coachability, mental toughness, and ability to keep up with Blue Lightning athletes in their peer group for potential team placement.

The Test-Drive Tryout is an evaluation and does not guarantee acceptance or team membership. Invitations to join Blue Lightning Track Club are based on the athlete’s overall evaluation and performance during the Test-Drive.
